Britta Marakatt-Labba

Gjennom et halvt århundre har Britta Marakatt-Labba vært en av Sápmis mest sentrale kunstnere. Utstillingen «Sylkvasse sting» på Nasjonalmuseet er den hittil største utstillingen om hennes kunstnerskap som er laget.

Hacienda besøkte kunstneren på hennes atelier i  Övre Soppero, og resultatet ble et kunstnerportrett  og videoer til Nasjonalmuseets promotering i sosiale medier.

For half a century, Britta Marakatt-Labba has been one of Sápmi’s most important artists. The exhibition ‘Syrupy Stitches’ at the National Museum of Norway is the largest exhibition of her work to date.

Hacienda visited the artist at her studio in Övre Soppero, and the result was an artist portrait and videos for the National Museum of Norway’s social media promotion.
