Penelope vasser i konsekvensene av plastforsøpling i en skjærgård utenfor Trondheim. Kim møter en brutal virkelighet på gata i Texas, og mellom skyhøye bygninger og milliardindustrier spør han seg: hvor blir det av alle penga?

Vår generasjon sitter med nøkkelen til å utrydde fattigdom og stanse klimaendringene. Victoria, Kim og Penelope kan ikke redde verden alene, men de forstår at de kan gjøre litt, og det føles så sinnsykt bra!

Vi følger tre unge deltakere som uvitende sendes ut på sitt livs største reise inn mot kjernen av FNs bærekraftsmål. Victoria travels to Greece and meets refugees from Yemen. Her image of Norway as a nation of peace is shattered when she realises that Norway exports weapons and military equipment. Penelope wades through the consequences of plastic pollution in an archipelago outside Trondheim.

Kim encounters a brutal reality on the streets of Texas, and between sky-high buildings and billion-dollar industries, he asks himself: where will all the money go?

Our generation holds the key to eradicating poverty and stopping climate change. Victoria, Kim and Penelope can’t save the world on their own, but they realise that they can do a little, and it feels so damn good!

MISSION IMPACT is an ambitious web series filled with action, strong emotions and great personal journeys. We follow three young participants who are unknowingly sent on the biggest journey of their lives towards the core of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
